This is a 3-hour workshop where you will create your very own lampshade from start to finish.

You will be provided with all the tools and equipment needed to make a 30cm drum lampshade to take home with you.  You just need to bring a fabric of your choice.

You will need half a metre of fabric that is a minimum of 1 metre wide. We recommend light to medium-weight fabrics such as cotton, polycotton or a cotton/linen mix.

All the skills you acquire on the day will enable you to confidently recreate the steps at home to make more lampshades when needed.

The course is suitable for beginners as all steps will be carefully explained and demonstrated, along with all the shortcuts, finer techniques and advice.

Even better, you will be able to proudly declare to anyone and everyone who visits, “I made that!”.

Please note this workshop is held on the first floor via stairs only.
