In this workshop you get to choose whether you'd like to have a go at embroidery or block printing.

Embroidery

Introduction to embroidery -within the 2 hour session you will have the opportunity to create a sampler of decorative stitches e.g French knot, lazy daisy and more.

You will then go on to print your own embroidery template and use a variety of stitches to create your chosen design.

Included is an embroidery hoop, stitch guide and goody bag.

Block printing

Using hand carved wooden printing blocks experiment with this ancient printing craft. 

After a short demonstration practice printing on a card then using fabric paint select  your choice of 2 fabric blanks from the following selection Christmas stocking, bag , tea towel or cushion cover to design  your own printed fabric. 

You could also make Christmas cards and gift tags.

Age restriction: suitable for over age 10 (with adult supervision)
