About the workshop
During this workshop you will gain experience in using traditional silversmithing techniques to create a silver and gemstone ring. This is an introductory workshop, no previous experience is necessary.
What will you learn?
You will learn how to form, solder and texture a silver ring and bezel set a gemstone.
What is included?
We will provide all the tools and materials you need to complete the project.
Important information:
You will be working with small items and tools, if you need glasses for reading/detail work please bring these with you on the day.
Please ensure you wear sensible clothing suitable for a workshop environment e.g. no floaty sleeves/scarves. Shoes must be closed toes and long hair should be tied back.
Student must be a minimum of 16 years old.
Please note this workshop is held on the first floor via stairs only.
Refreshments are available to purchase at the venue. Cash only.
Cancellations:
You will receive a full refund if you cancel before 4 days prior to the workshop date. Cancellations after this will be eligible for a £20 refund.
