Wakefield! We’re back!

I am so happy to be back at A Touch of Craft, Yorkshire, in Ossett, for another in-person quilling workshop.

Quilling is a wonderful, relaxing paper craft, which uses ready-cut strips of paper, which we curl and shape in various ways before arranging them in a fabulous design.

It’s a craft that can look gorgeously fancy and ornate, but once you know how, it’s actually broken down into simple, mindful steps.

When: Saturday 23rd March 2024

Time: 10am until 3.00pm

Where: A Touch of Craft Yorkshire WF5 0HW (free parking at the venue, but please the craft space is located on the first floor only accessible via stairs.)

This is a workshop packed full of techniques and shapes for different styles of petals and leaves, so it is suitable for beginners or those who have some experience and are wanting to expand their skills.

We’re going to use these gorgeous 9-square backdrops with mounts to fill each square with a different flower. They also come with a stand for displaying your finished work of art. The squares measure 19cm x 19cm in total.

And of course you won’t have to stop there! Each individual flower will also be fabulous to use for card making too.

Please note that we won’t have time to finish all 9 squares during the workshop, but you will have all the skills and materials you need to finish your design at home.
